When the world famous Mysore Dasara has started and on 30th September 2011 at 12.15 the Dasara Film festival will be inaugurated. The invite has so many names but not the prestigious film family of Dr Rajakumar. This is shocking and the bureaucrats are there to answer the lapse.
Why the name of Dr Rajakumar family members is left out in the invitation is the question doing rounds. In the festival of Kannada films for Dasara the films of Dr Rajakumar like Babaruvahana, Kittur Chennamma, Bangaradha Manusha are listed among the 36 films. The latest film ‘Lifu Ishtene’ is also included the film festival list.
Rebel star turned politician Ambarish is inaugurating the festival at Kalamandira Mysore. The documentary films will be screened at Scouts and Guides grounds.
The ticket price at the festival is Rs.10 and Rs.5. Theatres screening Kannada films at the festival are Gokula, Lakshmi and Lido in Bengaluru.
